The unit was great. Thermostats in every room, well-equipped kitchen, and hot water for the showers (for 7 people total). We were there to ski, and the access to the Le Plateau trail was easy to find, about 400 ft walk or so (down some stone steps through the woods). Very convenient. The Plateau trail (which does have a few narrow steep parts for a blue square) dumps you at the Porte Soleil lift. Getting to the top of the Plateau trail to get back to the condo at the end of the day proved to be a challenge, as it turns out the ONLY way is to take the Porte Soleil lift again. To get to the bottom of Plateau trail (to the Porte Soleil lift) you need to take the Chalumeau Trail (blue square, #34), which can be found off the Desserres trail (blue square, #20). The easiest way is to take the Flying Mile lift (or ski down from the summit). It was far more complicated than we anticipated to “ski in” than we thought, but fun once we knew the correct sequence.
